Best DVD's for Intermediate Level

Hi everyone, I've been doing Cathe's workouts now for about 8 mo and have mastered Basic Step and Body Fusion. I've read on the website that Low Impact Step is the next best phase after Body Fusion, but I really enjoy the circuit-style workouts the most, so I bought the high step DVD set. Are the high step workouts a good next step for me? Would you all suggest anything else? I really enjoy the high step! Thanks!

The High Step Circuit - Intermediate is probably the most logical next step for you. It will challenge you. I haven't gotten the other two high step workouts yet, but will likely purchase High Step Challenge First. It appears to be the next step up from HSC-I.

The Low Impact Step DVD has a Total Body Sculpting workout that is circuit-like.

One more thing, if you like circuits, Cardio & Weights is a good workout. It is geared toward the advanced exerciser, but with modifications, an intermediate can complete it.

I actually consider Cardio and Weights to be an intermediate workout.

It is fun and thorough and I love the ab section.

It's a great workout -- I highly recommend it!

I would definitely try Low Impact Step/Body Fusion next and order High Step Circuit with those...That is the progression I took and it worked for me...The high step will challenge you..but in a good way;-) ....

The next videos I went to were Low Max, which I could only do about half of at first...on a 6" step.... and then Cardio and Weights (which also has Imax 2!!!)

You will then be ready for Step, Jump and Pump...there are a lot of premixes on that one which is good for intermediates...:) You may also want to invest in Cross Train Express...this is a great set for intermediates because the workouts are under an hour and it starts adding some weights in..

I know that I haven't mentioned many with high steps, but most of them are pretty advanced...even if you modify I think they are pretty tough to get through for an intermediate exerciser...:(

Good luck and happy shopping!!

Debra

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone! I wanted to buy Low Max soooo badly, but I thought it might not be the next best step, even though the clips look doable...challenging, but doable. I appreciate your help with this, thanks again!

I just wanted to mention that SJP was one of my first Cathe videos (I started as an intermediate) and found it long, but do-able. Even now, I like it better than Cardio & Weights. I think it would be a great transition DVD, along with LoMax.
