Cathe-

I just had a baby a month ago and I am wanting to begin to get into shape. I have not worked out for 3-4 years. Please advice which one of your programs would be a good fit. Thanks.

Not Cathe here but I can relate to you. I had my son 2 years ago. Before I had him I was not very active. So I took it slow started out with walking and worked up from there. I wouldn't do anything much than walking until your 6 week post partum checkup. Even after then be careful on taking to much. I went for a run (although I had a c-section which complicated things some healing wise) after my checkup. I ran for 1/4 of a mile and started bleeding again and did so for several days. Make sure your body is healed then why not add a workout of Cathe such as her new beginner workout. Seems like a great fit for you. Actually I want to buy it myself as I want to get pregnant again and think it would be a good one to do pregnant and afterwards to. I say that without veiwing either but it seems like a great point to start, not to intense. Well I hope Cathe and others can give you advice as well. Good luck!:)

Hi Gaylaapple! Congratulations on the birth of your baby!

I have filmed 2 new Beginner to Intermediate level DVD's. They will be released very soon. I think you will do great with DVD #1 (basic step and body fusion) which includes 5 workouts ranging from step aerobics to toning workouts. This is the one I strongly recommend. Here is a link to read more about it:

Thanks for the advice. I am about to start leisure walking this week and continue until my 6 week check-up. After that I would like to begin one of Cathe's programs. She recommended her beginner one. Good luck on the pregnancy venture.
