what tapes should i do as a beginner...i need to create a rotation...i need to lose 40 lbs ans firm up!there are so many tapes to choose from and not sure which ones are for beginners!
thanks

My feeling is that none of Cathe's tapes are for total beginners. But people feel that you can modify. The Get in Shape for your Wedding tape is usually recommended to get started with, and you can do most of the step tapes on the floor or on 4 inches while you build stamina and get used to the choreography. Cathe's niche market is advanced home exercisers. You can do MIS with no weight for the legs and light weight for the upper body as a beginning strength training tape. I'm sure other people will give you advice also.

You may also want to check out collagevideo.com if you havent already. It lists videos according to level and gives time breakdowns, as well as some add'l reviews, although videofitness has more extensive reviews. Also at collage you can preview a video sample to see what the workout is like, I love this feature!

I agree that Cathe's tapes are something you'll want to work up to...try videofitness.com for suggestions on tapes for beginners.
Good luck!

I agree that the step videos will probably be too advanced. However, MIS would be excellent for strength/endurance work to tone those muscles. As said previously, no weight/light weights can be used, and you can build from there.

Good luck, and welcome!
