Beginner/Intermediate Weekly Check In-11/20 to 11/26

RE: Beginner/Intermediate Weekly Check In-11/20 to 11/2...

Hello Everyone -

My week started out so great with KPC. Then both of my kids got sick, and by Wed. morning I was down with the flu as well. Today is the first day I am finally feeling a little better. So, I didn't get any workouts in, but I also didn't eat anything. It was really a bummer!! Oh well, one holiday down -- I still have Christmas and New Years to pig out! Just teasing!! :)

I hope you all had a good Thanksgiving!

Hello everyone,

Well another day and I still didn't exercise. I will start back fresh on Monday. This holiday just made me drag all week but I did manage to get 2 days of exercise in. I am so glad Christmas is on a Sunday that is an automatic rest day for me. I hope my TJ's come in today. I will post my new workout schedule on tomorrow.

I did receive a compliment today. One of my co-workers was looking at me today and said that it looks like I am losing weight. She said my thighs looks smaller, more leaner. ;) I told her its Cathe Step Aerobics which I have been doing for about 4 weeks. That made me feel so good:D and motivates me to keep going. Next I need to work on my clean eating better.

Michelle-Don't rush it, the flu is not easy to get over. Especially when you haven't rested sufficiantly and it comes back.

Belinda-Did you do KPC today? I DID!! It was my first time and it was fantastic. I didn't do the crunch segment though.

Kim-Gotta love compliments :D I know, I was dragging all week too. Two hot routines in a row, but my eating has not been good. The sweet potato pie keeps calling me ;-)

Does my laptop sense that I've ordered another one? It started not seeing the wireless connection. Ugh!!

Alright, gotta go shower, eat and figure out what's up with my laptop.

Thanks Crissy, I'm going to take your advice and not rush it. This flu really knocked me out. I think I'm going to start back up on Monday!

So glad you did KPC Crissy. Like I said, Monday was my first time too. The next day my arms were a little sore from all that punching, so I knew I got a good workout. Did you at least watch the crunch section? It is really good -- those pikes are a killer!!

Wow, Kimberly -- 4 weeks and already people are noticing that you are working out. That is the best motivator!!

It has been so nice chatting with you all this week. Knowing that I'm not the only one who lagged a little on the workouts -- it is so great to have support, even when we aren't perfect!! :)

HOWEVER, starting Monday it is the countdown to Christmas, so I plan to BE GOOD!!! (I want to be able to eat Christmas cookies and NOT feel guilty!)

Take care all!

Crissy, I did KPC on Saturday. I was so sore from my first workout three weeks ago that I consider it both cardio and sculpting. But, the last combo segment is very awkward; I will get the coordination together. It is my colldown segment because I go so slowly trying to get the kicks together. Today I did the SJP(step only). I started on the 6" platform and went to the 4" after the first segment. I will get the coordination right for the higher height.

Kim do not feel bad for missing a couple of days. When you do not feel well, staying off our feet is the hardest thing to do.

For any newbies that I missed, welcome.

Belinda
