Kimberly, yes I did the Body Blast Timesaver DVD all 5 workouts in order last week. They were nice and short, and I actually lost another pound. (The week before I did the Body Blasts as is, some shortened, and lost a pound.) So I am pleased in general with this series. Its definitely heavier on cardio than weights.
Pyramids are good weights workouts for sure. The upper body will really make you sore. Lower body floor work with the ball is also a killer. The standing legs are pretty easy so I like them!
I didn't preorder any of the new ones. I've decided that having the entire Cathe collection is just ENOUGH to own!!! I would love to have the new ones but can't justify it. It would take me 6 months to do all my workout DVD's/videos if I did one a day! After they are out and I see the clips maybe I can swap for one at VF if I really want it bad. x(
Today I did the Step Blast Challenge (warmup, challenge, cool-stretch) at 24 minutes, then Power Hour chest (7), then Denise Austen Pilates(22min). So total 53 min. I'm trying to keep it to just under an hour. By the way, I used the workout blender for Step Blast and it worked perfectly. I am going to make more use out of that feature now that I know how it works.
Tomorrow I'm re-visiting an oldie but goodie, Power Max step. I'll just do the warmup, combo 1 and the cooldown (her warms and cools are still aerobic for me) at 30 min., then PH back, then Pure STrenth abs from the BBA which includes supermans for more back work. Then a ball stretch. Should be a nice workout! I'm already thinking ahead to next week, maybe tackling the CTX series. This is going to be an easy week so I should be ready for it. I really think CTX is one of her hardest even though the workouts are shorter. They are sooo intense.
