Before-work cardio

Although I love Cathe's videos & can honestly say that they're the best step-aerobics workout I've had inside or outside the gym, they tend to be kind of long for someone trying to stay in the same shape she was in in college by getting up at 5 am to get cardio in before work. My perfect step workout would be 20-30 minutes of really intense cardio. Often I'll do 1/2 of MIC first thing in the morning, but there's no warmup before the second half & who has time to rewind & fastforward that time of day? Maybe a 60-70 minute video in two segments with a warmup before each.

Also, being a New Jersey native, I'm wondering where Cathe's gym is so I could try to squeeze into one of her classes when I'm home for the holidays. I'm thinking Glassboro somewhere, but what's it called?

A.M. Workouts

I love to split MIC up like that when I'm short on time, too. What I do to get around rewinding and fast-forwarding, etc. is just to do the warm up from another video like Interval Max or Step Works before doing the step portion of MIC.

Also, I believe there is information about Cathe's gym on the home page of her website. I wish I lived close to New Jersey so I could take one of her classes! No...I take that back...I wish Cathe lived in Washington state!

Intense Workout

I know how hard it is to get in your workouts with a busy life. There is an interval workout put out by Reebok called Intense Moves with Gin Miller and it is an intense 32 minute interval workout. I use this tape when I don't have alot of time and want a good workout.
As for a warm up for the second half of a Cathe tape just do your own. It doesn't have to be long or too choreographed, just do grapevines, step up and down on the bench, ect.. Just move your body to get it warm and then do some light stretches.
