"I just finally saw an infomercial for Urban Rebounding. I know you have recently gotten into it, can I ask you a couple questions??......did you buy from TV or is there a better deal out there? What dvd's are you using ?? It looks FUN.....do you think it's a good workout??
I am VERY tempted but wonder if it's as good as it looked........"

Hey Becky!
I just recently used my HRM while doing a reboundind workout and for me, it was about the same as a medium intensity step work out. I did a segment of Step till you drop 2 of 6" which IMO is not a super intense step work out and rebounding seemed to be on par with that for calorie burn. HTH!
I use the rebounding workouts put out by JB BURNS (the guy who "created" urban rebounding and that particular rebounder) and these work outs are not very long. Most range from 30-45 minutes in length but you could always string them together for a longer work out.
I bought mine from HSN because it was a better deal. It came with the work out compilations # 1 and # 2 and I just ordered # 3 from Collage Video which I should receive on Tuesday.
I love it. It's great on the joints and lots of fun. A good way to put variety into the same old routine. If you are looking for something fun, different and lighter than Cathe, go for it. If you are looking for Cathe's intensity in a different work out then I'm not so sure it's for you.
Kathryn has a different rebounder with a soft bounce and she uses cardio coach with hers. I have considered trying this but getting a good fast "run" going on the rebounder is tough for me...the movement just doesn't flow. I don't know if it's because her rebounder has a softer bounce that she is able to do it or if I'm just a dope! LOL
Anywhooo, I hope I answered all of your questions!
Let me know what you decide to do!
