Beachbody Shipping problem- Anyone want to chime in?

I am curious if anyone has had a good experience with purchasing straight from Beachbody in terms of shipping?

I am asking because I ordered CLX Deluxe and paid top dollar for shipping (and the product) only to find out that even though they promised my order to be here within 7 business days, they sent in Parcel Post Select and given that I live in Hawaii, I found out that it will take 6-8 WEEKS to get here. For the money I spent I'm angry. And the lady at CS hardly spoke English, so I'm pretty much left in a predicament. I think the company is trying to save on shipping instead of trying to preserve customers. And to think I wanted to buy Insanity soon too. Not now.

So, I'm hoping you have great stories of BB shipping. If not, what kind of horrible time frame did it take? Give it to me straight ladies, LOL!!

I'm sorry this is happening to you Amy.

I've ordered direct through BB as well as through a coach and never had a problem but I know many on these boards HAVE had shipping/cs issues with Beach Body.

You can purchase BB products through other sites. There is one in particular that Beavs has raved about in the past. Hopefully she'll read this and give you the name of the web site so that if you still want Insanity but are gun-shy, you can check out this other company before giving up on it.

I hope that maybe they really stretched the delivery time frame for you and that you get your work outs in couple weeks time.

FWIW I recently purchased Insanity. I was given a window of about a week and my order arrived in 2 days so there is still hope!

amy that is not right! if you paid for quicker shipping you should have gotten it! i would keep trying CS. i know they suck but maybe you will find that one person that can help you out. it doesn't matter as long as you are US you should get the dvds as promised when promised! i trade workouts often and sent to alaska,canada and hawaii without issues so this is unacceptable of a major company.

as wendy has suggested try finding a reputable BB coach to order from b/c my understand is that if you order through a coach you will have less issues. also totalfitnessdvds.com carries SOME bb products and she is also a BB coach(as far as i know she still is) and has good service. so if you still want to get insanity after fixing all this maybe try there.

sorry you have to go through this! i don't deal with them, most of my BB products come from trades. they are fine workouts and all but its not worth the risk of bad service for me. not at these prices in this economy!

I had a similar problem with BB once before. My order was guaranteed within 7 days, and I live in the continental US, but I never saw any shipping info for my package. When I called for assistance, I got some guy in India, who couldn't even spell my name right (it really isn't even a difficult name!). After about an hour wrestling with him on the phone, he finally found my order. Supposedly, it was back-ordered due to "high interest." Yeah, right. I think it ended up taking about 4 weeks to get my order. I will NEVER order anything from BB again! I don't care how good the program is! I will be content to stay with Cathe's workouts since I know absolutely what I'm getting and when I'm getting it!

I spent a lot of money on this program from BB and it turned out to be 2 dvds, a bunch of cheap paper (mostly advertisements) and a band! I felt pretty ripped off! Especially after what I paid for shipping!

I have had HUGE shipping issues with BB (if you search for it, you will find a few threads that rant for quite some time about BB's poor customer service); last time I ordered through a coach and it arrived within a couple of days and I live in a different country. I used Jonahnah, who posts on this forum and she's awesome. There are others who post here as well. Probably you will get some responses to your thread from coaches who will help you out.
