I was a Myoplex Light fan for the longest time but this one is just so YUMMY!
Anybody else is using it?

I'm aiming to after I finish up 2 big gallon containers of Isopure Whey Protein. I love my Isopure but wanted to see what Beachbody's is like. Grass is greener idealogy. LOL

Have you tried the Recovery Drink? I'm aiming to try that too. Right now Marti Chitwood has me taking electrolytes and amino acids as a recovery after workouts. I can vouch for the idea that it helps in energy levels and recovery from exercise. But what I'm taking is triple the cost of what Beachbody's drink is!!

Wish I had someone to make the meals for me in the Beachbody food plan. I hate to cook. Things don't turn out right with me in charge of the kitchen. Hate the mess. Hate to clean up. Don't have the time... So I Don't do it. ;-)
Someone posted that she followed the program to a Tee. The food was delicious, but she spent more time in the kitchen than she did working out. LOL

Do you guys notice a big difference when drinking a protein shake? Do you drink for energy or replenish fluids? And one more question.......do you work out A LOT? Just wondering if I should give them a try.

Thanks, Marcia. :)

Mari....if you are talking about the Whey Protein powder...YES..I love the Vanilla and use it alot. Marcia, whey protein is very good for muscle recovery after a workout. And yes, I workout alot...:)...Carole

Hi Ladies! I took the advice of Mogambo (Liane). She uses Emergen-C as a recovery drink. Mine contains glucosamine for my joints. Its helped me. It comes in little packets & you place 1 packet of powder into your water shake it up & drink. Its great tasting too. I'm going to buy Performance Formula from Beachbody. Their recovery drink is waaaayyy too high in sugars. HTH, Kathy

Yes, the protein powder. It is just so yummy. With soy light and some frozen berries.... oh my.

To answer you question --I drink it right after working out, for snack, etc.,
I don't use a "recovery drink' only. I make my own w/ protein powder and fresh fruit. In that way I get the necessery sugar and protein for the muscle repair.
I used more recovery drinks when I was practically in constant marathon trainings to replace the lost eletrolytes. But now I'm prefectly fine with some home made smoothies.:)
I exercise about 1-2 hrs/day depending on the schedule.
