BC X 2 : with a twist

With all the postitve posts of people doing BCx2 I was inspired to give it a go.

My version included TREADMILL SPRINTING ( 6 & 7 minute mile pace) for all cardio segments and through some of the recovery time before and after cardio. I did do all of it it non stop. What surprised me most was that I was not overly winded. Perhaps the running doesn't wind me as much as the high impact cardio. But it could be because I have put more running into my rotations and it has improved my endurance.

***I am staying away from most hi impact cardio in my workout area because our flooring is not currently meeting my needs. (Plantar Fasciitis) I have been using the treadmill even for the IMAX workouts. The IMAX DVD becomes my 'trainer' while on the TM to make it an interval run! (I know, I know, I am an odd ball who likes TM running more than outdoor running)

Judy....you are not an oddball!!! I think its great how you can modify the workouts. With injuries that can be difficult. I have just run so long outdoors that a treadmill doesn't appeal to me. But we are all different. Besides when I tried running on my FIL's treadmill years ago....I broke it...http://bestsmileys.com/lol/10.gif[/img]....Carole

Judy, you just gave me an idea: use my rebounder for cardio segments. It's going to be tough fitting all of the equipment into my very small workout space, but it's worth a try.:)

You must give it a try and report back!

BTW congratulation on your quote in People magazine. I read your original and it would have been nice to see all of it in print.
