I just want to jump on your thread because when I see "Waukesha" it makes me smile. I use to live there and loved it. I shopped at Brookfield Square. Wish I could join you all as it would be fun to visit with you all and visit my old neighborhood. Have fun.

Sabrina - I never thought to bring a camera. Hopefully some others are still home and can bring one!

Joanne - Where do you live now? I love to hear newscasters from other areas try to pronounce Waukesha!

I'm with you on the smile, Joanne. I grew up in Waukesha county (Sussex,Hartland,Pewaukee area) and now live in New York. It makes me giggle to see Wisconsin and Houlihan's and Brookfield Square, etc. on these posts.
I'm actually seriously thinking about moving back to Wisconsin in the next year or two, so this makes it even more appealing.
Summer has been nasty here as well - looking very forward to fall and Packer football!!
