Baylian - Workout Area

A couple months back I was accused of not being a true Catheite and more or less being a troll ~ I hope this puts that all to rest. Just in case anyone needed to be reminded of what was said to me here it is . .

"Oh bayliannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, I'm still waiting for answers to my questions...............I guess you really aren't into exercise & are so incredibly sad & desperate for attention that you have to continually stir up trouble on fitness forums where you have no place.

Alrighty, giving you one more chance to show you actually DO excercise, here they are again:

What's your favorite Cathe DVD?
What's your favorite Cathe ab routine?
How long is your favorite Cathe ab routine?
What's Cathe's toughest circuit w/o?
What's Cathe's toughest cardio?

What's that you say? No answer? No answer at all? Could that perhaps be b/c you DON'T EXERCISE?????? LMAO! Because you're only here to stirr up trouble? HMMMMMMMMMMMMM?

Yep, that's what I thought.

P.S. According to your profile you've been exercising for almost a decade. You must be in amazing shape! Can you post some pics please?

Yep, that's what I thought."

OMG someone actually wrote that stuff to you? How sick.

LOVE your workout room Baylian. What are the dimensions of the mirror.
DH and I went last night to Lowes and I bought 2. Dimensions 4' X 3'.
Not sure if these are BIG enough.:p

It took many years of clutter, before we decluttered. And we are not done. The final piece will be to move the computer to the spare bedroom. That cannot happen until DD moves into the room that was her brother's, but is being painted with her murals(very slow going). Then new book shelves for all my books, and I will figure out what to do with the big stuff(and maybe talk DH into a good treadmill!).

Just decluttered the kitchen by going down to Amish land last week and getting a very nice pantry cabinet. I love it.

Awesome workout area Baylian!

hiitdogs: I wish I could be that disciplined and get rid of dvd's. I do not "get on" with Amy Bento's Hi/Lo but I have all the dvd's and keep them just in case...in case of what:eek:?

I have a lot of workout videos too. I have almost all of Cathe's. I don't have some of her older workouts like Cross Train.
The only videos I do not like are my Dove Bodies, but keep them just in case they grow on me. I may like them some day:p

Dang it! I am so jealous of all these great workout room pics I see. I wish oh wish I could have a room totally devoted to working out. By the way the mirrors are awesome.

Baylian, those mirrors are definitely not coming off the wall! I had mirrors similar to yours installed in my fitness room and saw how much glue the guy used ... they are there for good! Your installer was being honest when he said he'd have to break them up (and probably ruin your drywall in the process).

You look very organized ... that's my goal for the year. My workout room is in good shape. Now for the rest of the house!

Thanks for sharing.

Nope, those mirrors are there for good! :) My workout room has 3 walls mirrored floor to ceiling and Pearlstrand is right, they had to put massive amounts of glue on the back when they installed them. To have put them up without the glue would be very dangerous.

Enjoy your workout room! :)

Very nice wo room!! Love the mirrors, the beagle!!, and the pretty colored risers!! Where did you get those? Mine are boring, grey, balck & I do have 2 purple (7 total). Would love your pretty colors!

Thanks for sharing

I bought this step back in 92! I have to keep checking the tread on it. It's made by the step company.

The whole set up is awesome, especially the dumbbell rack! And Bayley is adorable. :)

Is that a drum set I see? My 10 year old wants to learn in the worst way, but I can't tell if this is a phase or if she's serious.

Yes that is my son's drum set. He had to have it in the worst way - when he was between 4th and 5th grade. Band and choir are mandatory in the 5th and 6th grade and then when they hit Jr. High they can do one or the other or both. He said he wanted to play drums so we bought this brand new drum set and he found it on Christmas morning before we got out of bed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now the really funny part - the first week of 5th grade they put in their choice for instrument to play. He starts to tear up and looks at me at says "I WANT TO PLAY THE SAX" - so we have a sax player who plays the drums!

Baylian - I have to ask - do the mirrors help with form? The few times I have been brave enough to venture to the gym for weight workouts, I feel weird staring at myself in the mirrors but I think it really helps with correcting form/posture/stance, etc. I would love to have the mirrors at home.

Yes - I check my form a lot. Especially on leg work.

Someone on this forum crazy with owning DVDs or workout equipment, get out of town ......:D

So spill it, Dorothy, how many workout DVDs do you have?:D:D:D

Nice workout room, Baylian!! I wish I had one, I am still dancing around in front of my TV in our living room :( Love your workout partner, too, very cute puppy!!!!:D

I'd LOVE to have those mirrors in my workout room!

I am afraid if I had a ton of workouts, I would over think which one to choose!!!

I wuv my dog! Thanks - she is a lovebug.

I didn't post the picture of my scrap/beading area !! Disaster!

Actually I have spent the last year (that I have been home - I have had to travel quite a bit to take care of my sick father) - getting organized! It's a great feeling.

I read a great book by Peter Walsh called "It's all too much" and it really helped with getting organized.
