Barlates body blitz subscription

To all the Linda @ Barlates fans. Linda has just put out a subscription for 10 of her workouts each month.
The link is:

http://www.workoutdvdworld.com.au/workout-downloads/barlates-body-blitz-subscriptions/

I've only recently switched from DVD to download and absolutely love this option. Linda puts out allot of workouts each month. I'm signing up so I can just get the one lot of workouts each month instead of making various purchase throughout the month.

The subscription does not include Linda's pressed dvds or I think her combo workouts but still, it will be like Christmas for me each month getting a heap of workouts for super cheap.

Has anyone else signed up?

I just bought the Sweat series and Double Loop series, of which you have 2 workouts showing above. Downloads aren't my thing and I don;t have the tech set up for them yet. Alas ... but luckily, Linda still releases DVDs! Enjoy and come back and post your feedback on these workouts, OK?

I have been looking for something different. Need to change things up. This fits the bill, would love to know what you think. Quite inexpensive for what you get!

I'm interested in these. Thanks! Do you have the Fit Tower? Not sure if I need that, or if I can just use a chair.

Ok, I'm going to go for it and get some of these workouts. Like Linda, I am easily bored (hence my BOD, Cathe Live and Cathe On demand subscriptions). Thanks so much for the recommendation.

How long did it take to receive your downloads?

Hi Jaypea, I do have a fit tower but I don't use it for Barlates workouts, I can use a chair. I get the downloads within 24 hours.

Thanks. I got the downloads. I did Up and Down Sweat. I was a sweaty mess when it was over. I don't have 3#, so I used 5. Thank you so much for sharing info about these workouts.

AAAArgh, I have two weeks left of a studio sweat rotation (not that I'm complaining) I cant go through the workouts yet and have not been able to fit them in. I do find that spinning tightens up my hips so Ive been using Barlates outer thigh with band workout which seems to help me re active my underused muscles in my hips.
I don't know why but this workout just relives the hip pain.

Barlates has some new ball and band workouts which I'm busting to try. too much to do and so little time !!!!!
2lazy4thegym has some awesome reviews which is making me even more hooked lol

Linda is releasing some of these yoga barre fusion workouts in a boxed set sometime soon, so I am going to get that, and she has also released these bootcamp workouts in a boxed set with the Sweat series under the name Cardio Sculpt Fusion: available on Mary's site.

I love Linda's Barlates workouts and have gone a little crazy--both with her free YouTube workouts and hoarding her DVDs. The link above (Ally Yo's post) is just the free YouTube Barlates workouts I've done. This link https://2lazy4gym.com/category/trainers/linda-wooldridge/ is everything--YouTube and her DVDs. I love her workouts. I am crazy about her Mix and Match HIIT. If you like Dream Body workouts but find them too frenetic for you then this is exactly what you are looking for--the intensity and type of workout you get with Dream Body without the frenetic pace. Oh, and also without the nonstop incessant jabbering of the instructors.

Jen:

exactly! Perfect description. Linda has experience with a wide range of instructors and she takes the best and then, inspired by what she has seen, makes up her own fusion workouts that she finds interesting, that are challenging her at the moment, and that she thinks we will enjoy also, since change does the body good, as we all know! I follow her on FB and love to see what workouts she's doing each month, because you know she's going to get inspired in some way by what she has seen and make up her own version to make us all burn on some workout real soon. Plus, she is a real sweetheart!

I have found that barre/pilates classes I have taken are too short: they have good exercises but never enough repetitions of each exercise to really feel it. Not the case with Linda! I always feel a burn in the target muscle group, and when yu look at all the workouts she has released, she is endlessly creative.

My only critique is that the music is bland, but she's a one-woman filming operation so I am not sure what she can honestly do about that. As you say: the Dream Body people never stop talking and it all sounds so whiny. Linda cues, hits a high level of reps, talk you through it, is encouraging, expresses her feel of the burn right along with you, then soothes you into the next exercise. Her voice and instruction is friendly and "right along there with you." Adding Linda's workouts to whatever Cathe routines everyone is doing is about the perfect workout scenario as we get older I reckon.

You are so right Maddiesmum. Linda is awesome and is an amazing instructor. I'm loving the variety. I look forward to the youtube posts of Lindas new workouts. Holly cow, they are cheap too for what we are getting! Linda is also completely contactable and friendly. Linda has always helped me with anything if she can. I need allot of variety and am a workout hoarder lol. I cannot rave enough.
I work in spin (cathe or studio sweat) with Cathe, BJ and Lindas workouts ( I have to work out to get a good night sleep)
Linda has so many workouts, whenever Jengollf reviews them, I have to add them into my rotation. Jen, you are amazing. We have the same taste in workouts. You have saved me and cost me allot of money lol, Thank you!!

Hi

I'm a bit 'late on the train' with Linda's workouts. Everybody seems very excited about her workouts. I've tried watching the clips on Mary's site but it hasn't really drawn me in yet lol. Possibly because its barre workouts and I can't get excited about Pilates or fusion. I don't know why as they seem very good, but I think its the little weights that are used in other dvds. I love your sight Jen and usually if you recommend something I have to give it a try. I will definitely try one of her shorter workouts first.
