Peeps Check-in

Good morning! I did an unplanned "bonus" workout yesterday morning. After I checked in here, I finally settled down an hour later and decided to take a 30-minute nap before work. Not one of my better ideas! I set the alarm on my cell phone and slept through it. I woke up, looked at the clock, had an adrenaline surge, brushed my teeth, washed my face, put my hair up in a clip, got dressed, and was out the door in record time. Thankfully, there was no traffic and all the lights were green for me. I sprinted up the stairs to my office because the elevator was too slow. Amazingly, I stayed awake all day without caffeine. I did not get to the club before closing time for my water workout. I relaxed with the stability ball segment of Stretch Max. This helps me sleep! I may need to include this before bedtime every night!
Did y’all order a Cathe calendar? I love my calendars for 2007 and 2008. I am visually inspired, and I love seeing stickers for my workouts. I ordered right away to get the 20 percent off discount code. My stability ball is leaking air and needs to be refilled every day. I want a pink one to make those hardcore STS workouts a little more girly! LOL! I played with the 10-pound vest in July and love the look and fit of it. I do not need any extra weight at this point in my journey. If I keep my focus, I may need it by March when I start the third mesocycle.
I need to clean my workout area this weekend and blow the dust off my heavy weights! I am planning to revisit the 4-Day Split in November. I am hopefully meeting a friend at the club today. I may do Cardio Coach on a recumbent bike or enjoy a water workout. My feet are not happy this morning, so swimming would feel better.
Ellie and Wendy, I am so over stale Peeps. I needed a Peep fix last night, had to get creative because it takes at least 4 days to properly age a Peep, and discovered that I like frozen Peepsicles even better! LOL!
Karin, have fun shopping this weekend! I do not have a road bike yet. I was thinking about doing Cardio Coach on a recumbent bike at the club. We have great hike and bike trails around here, and I would love to ride by the lake someday.
Catherine, I may take you up on that coffee. I hate coffee, but I need caffeine this morning. You are very wise to get personal training for proper kettlebell technique. I have a friend who injured herself by not using proper form. Do you have strong wrists? With my fair skin, I envision lots of bruises if I attempted that!
