Banana/Peanut Butter Protein Pancakes

I've been making this for my breakfast and it is so good I thought I'd share:

Whip up 5 egg whites, add cinnamon to your liking and mix well. Add 1/2 cup uncooked oats and 1/2 cup banana slices. Pour in a large non-stick pan to make one HUGE pancake and cook on both sides.

Spread 1/2 tbsp. natural peanut butter on top and enjoy! It is SO GOOD!

I make similar pancakes, but I too, add a scoop of protein powder.
Very tasty!

Oh! And I make them 'small' pancakes and eat them as a snack through out the week. I also use almond butter as a spread.

Hey Debbie, this is RIGHT up my alley, except that I've temporarily given up bananas while trying to lose fat. Maybe I could use blueberries instead.

Here's the ratios if using blueberries:
50% carbs, 30% protein, 20% fat
cal: 476
fat 10g
carbs 65g
protein 32g
fiber 10g

With bananas:
53% carbs, 28% protein, 19% fat
cal: 505
fat 10g
carbs 72g
protein 33g
fiber 10g

Debbie definately needs the bananas to fuel her superwoman workouts!! ;)

I just typed this all up and printed it out for my binder. Thanks!!

Heidi
