I am truly addicted to these workouts. I have been Doing Essentrics, Squeeze, Cardio Barre, and the Pershing Square workouts. I get so caught up in doing these every day that I have not been doing as much Cardio workouts. Does anyone consider these Cardio workouts ?

Thanks,Amy

I would consider CardioBarre a cardio workout. I don't know which one you have but I use the Ultimate Advanced which is pretty fast. Physique 57 also goes pretty fast.

They just opened up one of these right after I moved.

I hear that it is really challenging. I wish I had room for a bar and workout room at home. I'd try them in a heart beat. They really work your core and increase flexability.

would you mind posting your weekly schedule? how long have you been doing just these workouts without cardio? have you noticed a change in your body from them? I want to get more into these.

Except for Cardio Barre, they don't have all that much cardio effect. Heavier weights does that much better (if you're looking for a toning workout that has a cardio effect).

I have been doing Cardio Barre and Squeeze Stronger and some pilates for about 6 weeks. Throwing in some Kickboxing every now and then. I just got Pershing square 1 & 2, essentrics and Kari Anderson Angles lines and Curves and Reach. I have notice a nice change in my hips, butt and thighs. Don't feel like I have gained any weight.Legs feel tighter and so does the butt.

I like several barre exercises - not for every day, but often - but I rarely find my HR gets up high enough for it to be cardio. Normally it's more of a cross between a dynamic stretching session and an isometric weight training session.

But I'm not doing any of the really fast paced barre.

the only one i have of my collection that i would consider close to cardio is cardio barre. otherwise, while some of the flow of ballet type workouts, do help me work up a sweat i just don't feel my heartrate go up.

Can someone help me find more information about these workouts? I'm looking for something new & different and wanted to check them out. I can omly seem to find the Cardio Barre ultimate advanced DVD but can't find the other ones that you've mentioned.

mary at totalfitnessdvds.com has long clips of the workouts. she doesn't have P57 or barmethod(somebody has that link above). she also has core fusion which is like the 10 minute solution version of barre workouts and she carries all 3 squeeze titles.

fluidity i think can only be purchased from their site but i got mine from VF trades/SASE which is how i got those.

lotte berk is another shorter,beg/inter barre workout.

other then ballet workouts i only own lotte, older bar methods, squeeze/squeeze stronger, fludity beg-adv, 4 core fusions. i also have kathy smith's total body lift with similar moves but no where near the challenge as the other titles.
