I was hoping you might be able to help me. Please forgive me if this has been asked before, I just signed onto your website for the first time this morning.
I am 48 years old and have been slowly gaining weight over the past three to four years. While it may not seem like alot to most, it feels horrible to me. I'm only 4'11 and weigh 129. I would love to loose at least 20 pounds and of course quickly! However, my body just isn't cooperating. I'm trying. I'm not one to sit on the couch all day and eat healthy (no fried foods, no soda, no bread...). I just recently had my hormones checked and will no the answers to that within a week. I'm thinking my body is just out of whack and premenopause is sitting in. My thyroid has been checked and is okay. I'm trying to train for a 1/2 marathan in March but finding it hard to stay motivated. I find myself thinking about the weight 24/7 and it has really depressed me. I have never been this weight except while pregnant. I had a personal trainer recently for about 2 months, 2 days a week. We did strength training while I tried to walk/run at home the rest of the time. I saw no results? Any help or advice would be so appreciated!! I would LOVE to tone and build definition especially in upper and thighs. In the past I have been able to build muscle very quickly. At home, I have a treadmill, recumbent bike, bands, some small free weights, kettle bells, small trampoline, and 8 and 10 medicine balls. So I have some things to get started, just need to figure out which videos would work best for me to get the results I'm looking for. I have tried alot of the beach body videos and they just were not for me. Thanks so much for your time!!
