Bad knees

I bought the steps about 2 weeks ago. The video that came with it is All Step. I have bad knees and can not do the jumping or juming jacks. Is the a different tape I can buy that will be easy on my knees? The All Step is volume 4 is there a Volume 1 or 2?

Thank You,
karen

It's a shame to have the tape and not be able to do it. How about doing it without the jumping and doing half-jacks? What height are you using?

Karen, I have a dicey right knee (torn meniscus a year ago, arthritis already!), but I do a lot of step...on a 6" step (I'm 5' even). Start with your step in the lowest height, do only a few minutes and build up. Pay a lot of attention to those knees at all times. Avoid high impact for awhile...go easy and be gentle. Build up some leg muscles (strength training here). It worked for me, hopefully it'll work for you. But pay strict attention to those knees. In everything, keep your knees happy. Hopefully you'll be able to do that step workout you bought. But be patient and give yourself months. Then if your knees still don't like that workout, by then you might have found something else you and your knees like. I can do a lot of Cathe's step routines, but I still pay a lot of attention to my wonky knees. And they repay me by doing the work I demand and doing so without complaint.

Good luck, Karen!
