Back size increasing

Hello everyone,
For the last month or so I have noticed my bra is too tight around the back. Does this mean my back is getting bigger? While I would be happy with this, I do not want to buy more bras.

If this is the case, does anyone have advise on what I should do so I can maintain my back size or decrease it a little. If this isn't the case, any tips on what is going on? Thanks, M

Yep, that's what it means. My bra size is ridiculous--I wear a 36A. Once I had sales clerk at VS laugh at me when I asked if they had it in stock. It was really humiliating & made me feel like crap.

You could decrease your weights when you do your back routine. Other than that, be happy your muscles are responding to your hard work.

Wow. I'm also a 36A. It frightens me that I can buy bras at the "tween" store here. What kind of girls are we growing?

Another 36A here! Why is it so damn hard to find any bra in this size? I usually end up buying 34 and use the last latch but it's still a little tight...I can't really complain though, I love my muscular back :)

I also love my muscular back:) I find it most difficult to find workout bras. Lots don't come in "bra" sizing, and if you buy a small for cup size, it's too darn small across the back.

I'm sensing a niche market here.

Thanks for the quick replies. Can you beleive I am also a 36A. I bought all new bras last summer at VS. This is why I don't want to buy more. Plus I can't believe I would need a 38, but the 36A is killing me. In the winter it is easy to go braless, but now that the weather is nicer I can't get away with it.

This thread is too funny.......I'm also a 36 A (or even almost A...LOL). I am tall and have long arms so I think this is part to blame cuz I'm just starting to lift heavier. I have a bunch of 34A's I squeeze into cuz I hate to go bra shopping, so I hate wearing a bra. I go braless when I'm not at work....who cares that I'm 45!

I just bought new bras myself. I was shocked that 34Bs didn't fit anymore. I had to buy 36B (and I'm barely filling up a 'B' now). My back has definitely gotten bigger since I've started using Cathe. Last summer I was easily wearing size small tops, but this year when I try on smalls they are really tight on the shoulders and across the back. My weight is the same as it was last year, so I know that's not the issue.

Way back I used to be a 'C', but all this exercise has shrunk 'the girls' some. Funny that I try so hard to make my butt smaller but with little effort the one thing I want to hang onto is slowly going away! No fair. I try to justify it by telling myself I look 'athletic' now instead of 'rubenesque'. LOL

hi m!

i believe that to maintain or decrease back size (or any muscle size) you should decrease weight while increasing repititions. go for muscle endurance exercises rather than muscle building exercises.

p.s. i am a little jealous that you can increase your muscle size without even realizing it!

have a healthy day!

I'm a 34A, but was a 32A before I got any muscles from Cathe! ;-)

I also find that some of the tops I could wear before are tight. I used to be able to wear a size 2 jacket/blazer. Now the shoulders are too tight and I have to wear a 4, even though the part "around" my waist area is too big. It's the shoulders and back.
