Back fr Vacation! Thanks 4 advice!!

Hi everyone!!!!!!!! I have so missed you all! I just got back from vacation in Florida! Your advice was awesome! As some of you know I stayed with my Grandma and was worried I wouldn't be able to workout! I was able to workout 4 out of 7 days while I was there!!!

I found this great little fitness center called Ladies Fitness. It was in a strip mall right next to the grocery store we visited the 1st day there. I decided to pop in and ask them if I could pay to workout a few days. They said YES and only charged me $5 a day:)))) So... I went real early in the morning before anyone else got up and did the elliptical, wts etc. It felt so good.

I also was able to run 2 days for some extra cardio. I took my exercise bands and was use those when I had a few extra minutes.

I also communicated w/my grandma like you recommended. Funny, that once I told her I wanted to be healthy she did too! We went to the grocery store and fruit/veggie market the 1st day and piled up on good veggies and fruit! She only made 1 fattening breakfast the 1st day only because I hadn't had time to tell her yet. It goes to show that communication is always the best key. I don't know why we women let guilt control our lives! I am so guilty of it.

However, I still ate way too much good southern cookin'!!!!!!! You all will see that on the next post!!!!!!!! I need help gettin' it back in gear again.

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks to all of you for your great advice on taking control of my vacation! I definitely ate too much but was at least able to get in some exercise (better than nothin' I guess).

If any of you are headed out on vacation don't give up on exercise unless you want to! If I can pull it off where I was ANYONE can!
