back fat

what can I do to get rid of that bra fat and also since turning 40 I am getting love handles right around the waist of your pants in the back. I know you cant sot reduce but what can I do to tone it up and shrink it. Its gross. I know lat rows is one exercise but how often and what about the fat in the waist area that pudges out when your pants are on, no muffin top its reverse in the back. I never had this before.
 
I hate back fat, . . .I've got it too. It is an overal body fat thing though. Clean eating and exercise, . . .I know that you probably didn't want to hear that but from what I understand you can't spot reduce. I also find that wearing a size that fits me better helps to minimize the appearance. Body shapers are great too. I use Spanx. :eek:
 
I've got to admit, I hate back fat too, yuck. I agree with Janie, clean eating and exercise and that means cardio to lose the extra pound and weights to tone up. Pushups go a long way in toning those areas but no one specific exercise is going to do it. Believe me, I wish there were a magic bullet for abs but I haven't found it yet, still searching though.
 
Clean diet, low carb, intense cardio, and not too much weights. Exercising the area won't work. I know. I have the back fat thingy and when I was in college I did weight lifting (put the guys to shame, towards the end there I was bench pressing 250.) It never helped in that way. Its probably a shift in your hormones.
