baby cavies!

I know it's Superbowl Sunday and everything, but we're all excited at my house because our female cavy (guinea pig) just had two cute little babies! They come out w/fur, eyes wide open, and practically running around all over the place. I know, some of you must be thinking, how can a grown woman get so excited over guinea pigs? Have a great Sunday everybody!!!!

That is just like having a new puppy. How cute. Sounds more exciting than footbal(I am in the bedroom).
That is why I am on here instead of screaming like a lunatic in my living room.

That is too cool. I didn't know they were born with their eyes open. I use to raise rabbits as a kid and they wouldn't open their eyes for a week or so. You can name them Steel and Hawk. LOL

I remember when I had a guinea pig as a young girl and one sunday I saw a small pile of fur in the cage and thought my guinea lost her fur. Didn't know she was pregnant. Cutest little baby and yes wide open eyes. Only one thank god. congrats!
