August Rotation - Monday 8/8

Hi all! Lori glad to have you join in. I am waaay behind due to having to teach my own classes so I am just doing the workouts on my non-teach days. I think I might have cheated today with my workout because I have what I think is a bladder infection (going to doc this afternoon) so I just could not imagine doing 200 JJ in a row! Wink! Sooo, I broke the whole workout into 4 Supersets; I did 100 walking lunges, 50 JJ, 2 sets of 8 push-ups, 100 varied crunches and 25 dips. I repeated this 4X and voila! I SURVIVED!!! It is a great motivator reading all that you guys are accomplishing whether it be modified or as is! I LOVE this challenge. Way to go guys!! Good Luck the rest of the week and remember: Listen to your bodies! :7

Got room for one more??? Hope so:)

Another non-runner here (but hopefully that'll change), so I did Step Blast...and really went for it:)

Debbie, good luck with the bladder infection.

Did my 5 mile run this morning. Took me 52 mins., fairly slow but just glad that I was able to complete it. I'm a little nervous about the double Boot Camp tomorrow. Kim

I just finished LM on a 8" step instead of the 5 mile run. LM is no Imax but I am drenching.

Happy second week all (or 1st for some)! And welcome to the check-in Lori and Lydia. Well I hate to run but after reading a lot of posts here the past few months I've been trying to ease into it with Cardio Coach (an audio walk/run workout). I also walk/run on my treadmill since I live in a city and don't like to battle traffic. I felt I needed a little more incentive than an audio so I put in U2's Elevation Tour DVD and had some eye candy (Edge!) while logging a lttle more than 5 miles in about 65 minutes. Brisk walk for 3 minutes than 6 minute run (okay slow run or was it a jog?). What actually differentiates a "jog" from a "run" anyway?x(

Thanks everyone who has done BC twice already and reported such positive results. I am looking forward to it now! Have a great evening, Sue

Hi All,
Lori, I just started today as well. Better late than never...right?
Now I have to go out of town on Wed and Thurs for work so I'll have to substitute workouts! x( Think I'll jump ahead and do week 3s Monday workout and a run!
Great work everyone!
Sherry

My weekend report:
Sat: I took a step class at the gym.

Sun:Imax 3 and terminators.

Mon:I only got to run 3 miles. I got a phone call that I couldn't walk away from. My friends mothers died and by the end of the conversation I was not into getting back on the treadmill.
In the evening I went to my spin class.

I may switch Sat. 3 mile run for today and just run 5 miles on Sat. and do leaner legs.

I'm looking forward to BC x2...I think!

Namita
