Hooray for Friday!

Catherine -- Did you have a great b-day yesterday? Hope that you enjoyed that carrot cake and ate lots of yummy foods guilt-free!;-) Oh, I LOVE Drill Max! It's one of my favorites!

Phyllis -- I need to join you with doing more cardio, too, to work off the body fat! I still have two more weeks of a rotation to finish up, but then I may switch to one that has more cardio in it. I'm curious to see what Cathe will put together for July! :)

Liann -- Yes, how's the pool coming along? As Catherine asked, did you get a chance to swim in it yet? :)

I'll BBL to say "hi" to everyone else! Today is Leaner Legs, and I may add in some cardio. Gotta get in better shape before August!

Well, the pool is in. Now, we are just waiting for the water. They brought one load yesterday, but we still need 2 1/2 more loads (14,000 gallons). Here's a pic of it so far. The wall are not nice and smooth yet though because of a lack of water. We are going to put the ladder in after the last load of water and then spend the next few days putting in a wood border around it and maybe some plants. Then MAYBE we will get to swim in it Monday before leaving Tuesday for vacation.

Reporting back to say that I did LM instead of DM. Did intervals 1-4 and did 5 sets of 5 pullups. Likes chinups better than pullups cause they are easier :+ Really forgot how much I enjoy LM. And the blasts are super tough on the legs!!!

Leanne, I hope you don't find it too difficult to fit in some cardio after LL ;) I always have good intentions of doing cardio after leg work, but I can just never do it. If I try I trip all over myself because my legs just don't work :p

I ended up doing PUB yesterday. I have been doing the 4ds and have not done a more endurance based workout for a while. I got some killers DOMs in my arms!}(

Now I am just waiting for my sunblock to soak in then heading out for a run. I am soooo excited it is Friday!


Catherine: I have not done LM for a while. I will have to pull that one out closer to the RT once to get the hang of step again. That one is a fun one.

Leanne: Leaner Legs is one of the Cathe workouts I do not have. I heard it is a killer one though! Have fun with that! haha


Liann: Wow it looks like your pool is really coming along. It looks really nice and I bet you can not wait to jump in.

Leanne - you know what is funny...I have Leaner Legs on VHS. I think I bought it off of ebay. I have never done it. I think it's because everyone calls it Meaner Legs. Have fun with it though!!}(

Liann - I can't see your pics, but you must be getting so excited now that the pool is finally up and almost filled with water. I hope you get to take a dip before leaving for vacation!

Jacque - enjoy your run! I love PUB. I actually have it on my rotation for tonight!

My legs are still sore from B&G on Wednesday night. Then last night I did CCV5 on my stationary bike and that probably didn't help. I'm giving them a rest tonight to gear up for CCPP tomorrow.

Catherine -- You're right -- after finishing Meaner Legs, there was no way that I could do any cardio, so I did abs instead. :) WTG on those pullups! I love LM, too; it's one of my favorites!

Liann -- Oh, your new pool looks gorgeous! I hope that that water gets in soon so you can enjoy it before you have to leave. Where are you going on vacation?

Melissa -- If you can do B&G, then you can certainly do Meaner Legs! It's really not *that* bad!}(
