Well Cathe as dazzled us with another rotation! Whose up for the challenge? I diffently needed the challenge b/c my workouts have been all over the place and there was dust growing on my dumbbells and barbells.
To date...I have followed everything.Except I did Imax1 and PLB on the sameday b/c I wanted to start it on Sunday so I did them both on Monday. When I was doing hamstrings I felt it more in my lower back. I was thinking...It hasn't been that long since I worked out with weights, am I forgetting my form already?
The answer to that question would be NO.My hamstrings have never been so mad at me before.I may have not felt it when I was doing it, but I certainly felt it the last two days.
Then I get up yesterday morning and realize that it is BM day.I can just move my legs at this point.I was sore form my shoulders, right down to my calves. But I mastered it. I didn't do upper body b/c I didn't have time.
And today, I managed to do Imax2 in the wee hours of the morning.I didn't do the last interval though, b/c my ankles were really hurting.
So far that is my experience. I am really enjoying this rotation b/c I have been running alot lately and haven't been spending alot of time with my step (or my weight, obviously!;( )
ANyone else what to tell me what muscles are screaming back at them?
LOri

I started on Monday which meant yesterday was PLB. Since I don't have that workout (yet:) ) I substituted PS Legs and Abs. My inner and outer thighs from the floorwork are not happy today. Since I don't have Body Max today I will do a step tape and some upper body from another tape. I'm not sure that my legs will cooperate. I do like this rotation. I especially like that some weeks seem very weight focused and others seem more cardio focused. So just when my muscles are saying 'no more weights' I'll get to move onto more cardio.

As far as sore muscles, definitely the inner and outer thighs. And the butt is a bit tender too.

YEah, you gotta love it.I was sore all over.
Today is PUB for me and I think I may go for a run in the evening. You should really invest in BodyMax.It is an awesome workout. She will knock you right off of your feet.;)
I am trying to follow the weight watchers points with this one as well.I have gained a few pounds since the new year came in so this is my plan!I am going to post a question for anyone who knows anything about weight watchers.
Have a good day,
Lori

Hello all. I tried my hardest to work out in the morning yesterday, but it just wasn't meant to be. But I did Bodymax in the evening. Man I love this one and yet hate this one. It is such a great workout. I had the sweat factor going through out it. Tonight I will take on IMAX-2. I am not going to bother trying to switch back to morning workouts until next week when my inservice starts up at school. I hope everyone has a great day. Val

I use to work out in the mornings all the time...but these days, I can't get my butt out of bed.I think it is b/c I have started a new job and somedays I get up at 5:00 to go to work.I read that it doesn't matter if you work out in the evenings or the mornings.Personnally I work out harder in the evenings.I have alot more energy.
I did PUB yesterday and I am so SORE.I don't know if I can work today.I skipped the upper body work in body max the other day b/c I didn't have time, so I think I may do PH, or ME tomorrow.I am really enjoying this rotation so far.I can't beleive I have made it through a week already, I am so bad at sticking to rotations.

I did IMAX-2 on Thursday night. I was actually glad this one came up since it is so much fun ( did I say that?). It is tough, but very upbeat if you know what I mean. The only reason I try and stick to morning workouts is because I work full time and have a 6 year old son. I always feel bad about parking him in front of the tv for an hour while I work out. The advantage to working out in the morning for me is that it basically adds some time to my day before everyone else gets up. I hope everyone else is doing great.

Any ideas on what to substitute for running next week...It has been over 100 degrees around here ( 109 on Wed)...and I don't have a treadmill.

I got back from a 10 day vacation last Saturday and started the August rotation Monday. I'm sooooo sore. My hamstrings are the most sore...I can feel them everytime I move. This is a tough workout week especially when returning from a vacation. But, I'm feeling GREAT about getting through it and now I just have CIS  tomorrow and next week is a little less intense. PUB kills my hamstrings every time - I love it!

Hey everyone...are you all still alive? I have officially finished week one of the Aug. rotation and all I can say is WOW. I never thought I would willingly do both IMAX tapes, bodymax and MIC all in one week ( not to mention PUB and PLB thrown in for a break). But I just finished MIC. I am looking forward to a day off tomorrow. Next week looks a little easier although I am not sure I can get running in and Circuit Max is one of the few tapes I don't have. How is everyone else doing?

well, I am still alive. One thing I didn't do was MIC though.I did that one last week and I didn't have time to fit it in yesterday.Today I wasn't really suppose to do anything cause Saturdays are going to be my days off.But I did BOdy Blast Break Thru.Have anyone ever heard of those workouts?I think Tracy YOrk and someone else teaches it.(not sure of names)It isn't as intense has Cathes workouts but if you give me any circuit training workout, I am sweating buckets no matter what.
Anyway,hope everyone else is well.
Lori(p.s my chest is still a little sore from thursay!)
