Hi Stacy!
Sorry I didn't answer you sooner but I was out of town.
These are the power yoga videos I use and really like:
1) BRYAN KEST: ENERGY; TONE; SWEAT (VHS, 50-55 min. ea.)
2) DAVID SWENSON: SHORT FORMS (DVD, can be broken up into 15, 30 and 45 min segments)
3) BARON BAPTISTE: POWER AND PRECISION YOGA (VHS, four 15 minute segments, each with a different focus: sun salutations, strengthening poses, balancing poses, seated/lying down poses)
I just finished the second week of this rotation and am really enjoying it. I do one 60 minute yoga video each week (usually Kest because I love the way he holds his poses longer than most) and two 30 minute yoga sessions each week as add-ons to PLB. For these sessions, I do the last two segments of B. Baptiste P&P Yoga (wish it were available on DVD!).
The results I am looking for with yoga are increased flexibility, upper body strength and stress release. I feel I am getting these results but I wish I had time to do it more!
The results I am looking for with the Pyramids/Imax2/Bootcamp are increased overall muscle strength (especially core), fat loss in the core region (I know, I know, there's no such thing as spot reducing) and improved cardio capacity. I do not want to lose weight. After two weeks, I've needed to increase my weights in the Pyramids and Bootcamp and my cardio capacity has greatly improved. Bootcamp was almost easy this morning (relatively speaking)! As far as fat loss in the core region, I haven't noticed any. (Probably too early to tell; I plan on doing this rotation for 6 more weeks. I'll let you know then.) But I have noticed increased definition and less fat there since I started doing the Intensity Series in various rotations several months ago.
HTH! Good luck!
