I got home from work last night and felt like misery personified. Sat on my bed in my coat and scarf for a while, staring at nothing in particular. Went downstairs, stood in the kitchen, stared at the floor.

Dragged myself upstairs again, changed into workout gear and pulled out all my stuff.

I did Satan's Mish-Mosh. About 10 minutes in, my mood started to improve. By the end of it, I was banging out those squats and lunges with renewed vim and vigour!

I just wanted to say thanks for putting together a mish-mosh that dragged me out of the doldrums and got the endorphins rushing:) Or should I thank Satan?;)
 
Limecat - I don't often get compliments like that, and I thank you. One of the subjects I don't hear much about here on the Cathe forums is exercise as a mood elevator, and for me personally emotional health is one of the top 3 reasons I work out at all.

I want to congratulate you for NOT blowing off your workout, and instead dragging yourself to your workout and doing it. That takes commitment, and maturity.

The winter months, for those of us in the northern climes, are notorious for bringing on the blues. And exercise is the only thing that totally banishes the blues, and makes me a decent person to be around.

Amen, sister! Those around me (well, most of them) don't know how lucky they are that I work out so much.;)
 
A thank you to AJ and also I agree with Shell. I am starting to stress just a wee bit since we are leaving for Fla. a week from this Saturday for 8 DAYS!!! I am wondering how I am going to get everything done before we leave and also wrap up all of Christmas when we return. Sooo, I decided to go down and do AJ's Mish-Mosh she posted for Thanksgiving Day and I just finshed! Whewie...But oh, what a feeling of accomplishment and stress reliever. I'm ready to tackle the world right now. Okay...off to shower and then to get back to making my Christmas cards. THANKS AJ for a FUN workout. It was cool to bring CK back after all this time. Those Lowmax blasts were just the right insertion! You did good girl putting this MM together!
