I see that the "Grey's" thread has indeed been removed. I'm sorry about that. I was actually very proud to be a Cathe-ite reading that thread and seeing the vast number of posters re the "Callie/Hahn" (whoever they are; I'm not a "Grey's" watcher) storyline speak out defending the rights of homosexuals not only to exist in culture but to exist visibly, equally and naturally.

Ah well. For a brief shining moment, the subject was discussed. Maybe someone can unslam the door now.

i just noticed as well! i just got on the computer for the first time since yesterday morning, so i never saw anything past my posts. i really hope it wasn't my posts that got it removed. i would be VERY sad if the moderators removed it because i spoke positively about homosexuality. i can't imagine why it was removed? none of my posts defending animal rights were removed (and i can get pretty obnoxious about animal rights) was removed. i would be devastated to think that cathe and crew are homophobic or don't feel defending that population was appropriate and removed it because of that.

I think it was removed because it was getting very nasty and completely out of hand.

I agree A-jock! I was very proud of our community too. I'm so sorry these threads were deleted. :-(

It was removed because Beth asked Cathe to. She posted an apology that wasn't accepted very well. So she then posted a good bye board post and said that she emailed Cathe and asked her to remove the thread.

ITA. While I did not agree in any way shape or form with what the OP stated in her original post, I felt that the responses that she got were out of hand. I don't feel she deserved the lashing she got and was sorry that she felt she had to leave because of it. Unfortunately though, these types of things happen on message boards. It can be very difficult to get one's point across clearly and so as not to offend anyone. Perhaps once the dust settles and everyone calms down she will reconsider. It's the first time I've ever seen her post something offensive/argumentative. I feel everyone deserves a second chance....
