Asking for your thoughts/prayers

Hi to all my Cathe friends:

I have posted much recently but hope you can send us your prayers/thoughts.

2004 has been a tough year with some serious physical issues. It was so wonderful at the football banquet the varsity coach said "this year we have a special award for a kid who suffered a serious injury at football practice and I mean life threatening. He has been an inspiration to all of us. He went to every game, every practice and did all the cardio drills. When the guys had a sore finger or foot they would look at him and see what no excuses really meant. The whole team signed a game football which they presented to him. When he walked up to get the football and shake hands with all the coaches everyone cheered. THis was certainly the proudest moment of my life.

We still have a long hard road and I ask your prayers/thoughts. Each day we look to find the blessing, some days easier than others. Family, friends, faith are what it's all about. I may have some issues as well will find out more shortly but I just need to be strong well for my son.

Thanks and here's to a healthy and happy 2005

Hope you have a healthy and happy 2005. Hope your son's road to recovery is as quick as possible.

My thoughts & prayers will definitley be with you, your family and son. Is he still having problems? I wasn't sure since he walked up to receive the award. Also, did he go to all the games & practices AFTER his injury? Sorry, I think I missed your posts lately. Thinking of you all. {{{Robyn}}} Congrats on his special award. How proud you must be.

Hi.

Your son sounds like he has a great positive attitude and that can help A LOT! You should be VERY proud! (I know that you are though!)

I hope everything works out for the best and that everyone in your family has a healthy and happy 2005.

Thanks you are the greatest. I really feal your hugs, prayers, thoughts :)

O Debbie I miss talking with everyone too. Yep my son was part of the football team but he didn't suit up in fact he didn't even have pads he did the cardio drills. He was the official stat guy for the offensive coordinator. The meds effect him school wise too but at least he was a very good student to start.

Thanks and yes I pray my stuff goes well too so I can be strong for him.

Hopefully I'll be back with all of you soon.

Thanks SO MUCH for your posts
