Ask and you shall receive!

Amazing!! You all were right, put yourself out there about finding healthier gal-pals and they will find you or you'll find them!

The very day I first posted about needing new, healthier, fitness minded Christian girlfriends, boom! My first one appeared! My son, dog and I went for a walk and a neighbor came out just a we were passing her house. We are going to do longer walks during the summer!!

Then, the Director of Women's ministry gave me the name of a gal at church who loves to walk and so do a couple of her friends. We're going to get together for some hikes and get-togethers!!

How wonderful to start to meet some new friends!

That's great news, Pam.
And a walking 'date' is a nice way to get to know someone while also getting in some exercise. I used to have lots of long talks with a friend of mine while we took walks.

Hi all! Thanks very much!! I don't know what happened with the original title except that my son was "Mommying" me NON-stop and I couldn't concentrate!!

It will be such fun to hear some new stories and our dogs are BFF's now apparently! They joined us for Memorial Day and our dogs didn't want to say good-bye! Sooo funny and cute!
