Mine skip in a couple of places but don't freeze. I'm thinking I'll probably go ahead and replace them because I'm concerned that there may be problems down the road if I buy a new DVD player. What will you do?

:7 No issues so far :7 I am using a Playstation2 and they are made to work with Dual Layered games. My son is going off to college next year and taking it with him. But if there is a problem with them later I will deal with it when it comes. What comes around goes around-if I return something that works just fine because of what "if's"-well most likely the bad karma would come back to me-trip over step and break legs.

I think Cathe is as good to me as she can be-I want to be the same in return.

Yes plan to replace them. All 4 of mine have problems haven't looked at Cardio Fusion yet. Jumping then continued to play in one dvd player and stopping and skipping in another dvd player.

Excuse me, but why would you replace your DVDs (that are apparently working fine) just because you MAY by a new dvd player and they MAY not work? Why not worry about that if it happens?

Mine freeze on all 4. When I press skip it goes to the next section. Its weird though on B&G when I press skip it just continues right where it left off. I wish the others would do this! lol Kathy:D

Because eventually one will have to buy a new DVD player (they have a limited life span) and if the DVD's have problems in that one (since it's a disc problem that has been found, that's rather likely), the customer would have to pay postage for the replacement, as per SNM's "lifetime guarantee" on DVD's (after the first 90 days).

yes, because they are claiming they are going to fix the sound issues (where cathe's voice gets lost in the too loud music!)

i have no skipping/freezing issues.... but the way her voice "gets lost" is annoying!

cute work out clothes are good for AT LEAST an additional 10-15 calories burned!

It would be to both my and SNM's advantage to send them back during a planned recall rather than later. If Telenium is assuming responsibility for the returns, I'd rather do it now while they are paying for it. :)

No need to...none of mine have problems. I just bought a new Sony 5 disc changer last month to replace my old one that was causing problems with some Cathes (RS and Timesaver), and it works perfectly with all the new workouts.

Okay, wait, I to change how I initially responded. What was recalled? I haven't seen anything about that. So if your DVDs are working fine, how are you going to assume they won't work in a new DVD player that you may buy tomorrow or two years from now? Besides, aren't they just replacing ones that have issues? I have not seen a recall. So you want to return them now just for the postage to avoid a "possible" issue? This logic makes no sense to me. This is addressing kathryn's comment as well, but seems like she is talking about the discs already being faulty. Oy. Confusing comments. I just put this here.

I am not sure what I am going to do. The only problem I am having is the sound of not hearing Cathe in some of her cueing and this was discuss over at Cathe and SNM said it is possible that this is one of the problems they are having.

I'm not going to replace mine and I have faith in Cathe/SNM to replace my DVD's should I ever have problems with them.

If you have no problems with your DVDs, why on earth are you replacing them? This makes no sense to me. You paid for functioning DVDs and that is what you have. You don't need or merit anything esle. And if they play on your DVD player now, they will presumably also play on the next one you buy also since Cathe DVDs are top notch technologically. I don't understand these attitudes.

Clare,
I think people are worried that because people are having issues on one DVD player and maybe not another is that when someone has to buy a new DVD player, the DVD's might not work on it. Also, what is causing some people to have problems is actually working on someone else's DVD player. So, if the person with a working DVD buys another player or trades for another workout, that DVD MAY have problems on another player because what is causing the problems is present on their working disc, it's just not manifesting the problems on their current DVD player. That is what I have gathered from many posters. Again, I'm not worried and do not plan to replace and have faith that Cathe/SNM will honor their lifetime guarantee and replace them if they should give me problems in the future.

Mine work on one of my dvd players and not on my other one. One is two months old and the other is a year old. Obviously there is a problem with the dvds that SNM has acknowleged.
I am still deciding whether to get them replaced. I don't want to run into problems in the future and then regret that I didn't get them replaced, when I knew there was a problem.
