Arachnoid cyst-

I really don't know much at all except that they're cysts in the brain or spinal column and I think they're congenital. I don't know how serious they are, or even IF they're serious. I really don't know anything about the symptoms or treatment. Does someone you know have an arachnoid cyst?

I have dx with arachnoid cyst approx. 2 years ago right lobe. I think thats why I've always had trouble with pronouncing words. I've gone to an neurologist and he thinks I've had this since I was born. I go for MRI's yearly to see if any change so far so good.~Linda~

The arachnoid is one of the membranes (there are 3) covering the brain and spinal cord. It resembles a spider web.
