Anything similar to P90x Yoga?

Hi, I don't post often (obviously) but I just tried Yoga X yesterday and am loving how I feel today (DOMS). I know a lot of you have done P90X rotations so I thought this may be a question someone could answer for me. I was wondering if there are any other yoga DVDs that are similar but maybe not as long. Thanks for any info you can offer!

Yes...I did a Rodney Yee routine the other day...first time I've done Yoga in many years. I am SO sore in my whole core, especially the obliques..they actually hurt to the touch! I've never had DOMS like this from any "core" workout. And I felt blissfully happy after as well. Now that I know what I've been missing, I'm also on a hunt for more styles and instructors. There was a post about Yoga just recently....

I just wanted to say,I agree! I just finished my first week of p90x, and I was loving the yogax tape. I used to practice yoga alot more, a few years ago, but then I really started getting into the cardio. Doing yoga reminded me how much I enjoy it, and how great it is for me. I would also recommend Bryan Kest yoga dvds, very similiar, just shorter.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just took advantage of the Deep Discount sale and ordered and Kest DVD.

Another person you may want to check out is Eoin Finn...He is not nearly as hard line as Tony, but I always enjoy my time with him. You should be able to find his dvds on Amazon...I would recommend Power Yoga 4 Happiness. There is one long workout..but it is also broken down into some shorter premixes...one of which is called "Magically Hips" and it is a great hip opener...You don't realize how tight you are until you do this one!

Also Shiva Rea has a few great dvds out. Fluid Yoga is very popular. Her style is completely different from other yogis out there....but it is fun and challenging once you get into it. She can also be found on Amazon.

I see that you have already ordered Bryan Kest....That is another of my favorites.

I have started incorporating yoga ever other day during my rotations. I use it to compliment the cardio and heavy weight training and I have seen some wonderful results with this.

Good luck and happy down dogging!

In addition to the great suggestions offered so far, I would also recommend Baron Baptiste's Next Challenge (it's about 70 mins.)
