Anyone watched The L Word???

Here in england we get a channel on sky called Living. Anyway, i'm flicking through and see this program called The L Word. Have any of you watched it? It's pretty sexual don't you think? I guess it's good in one way, making same sex programs about love and romance, but this is very sexual. I was shocked when i saw it!!! lol

Here in America it's on Showtime, a premium cable station (you have to pay extra for it). Same kind of thing for Sex & the City, which was on HBO. They are now playing Sex & the City on basic cable, but they had to tone down the sex a little ;-)

Hi Wayne - I've seen that show about three times. I am of that persuasion and I find the show amusing. I know they have to exaggerate people's life styles in order to make a show interesting, but, my God those people are in and out of bed and relationships faster than I change my workout socks! One scenario did hold my interest though. The one about the hairdresser having the affair with the married woman. Don't know how it ended though. If someone else does, please let me know. Other than that, the show just didn't hold my interest as I couldn't really relate to the people. My life and my friends are boring compared to theirs. LOL!!

Wayne- love The L-Word. Watched the entire season. Very well written and acted, IMHO. I sadly missed the last episode though and am waiting to see it on rerun. "Sherry" (Rosanna Arquette) and Shane left off as complicated as they began I think. Sherry's daughter was interested in Shane, but Shane let her down gently without mentioning that the other woman was mom.

I would definitely watch it if I wasn't too cheap to pay for cable! If it comes out on DVD, I will be able to indulge.

Wayne, have you been following Six Feet Under? That's my fave on DVD.

Hey Clare, long time no hear! Yea i have seasons one and two on DVD. Though only watched season one so far. Very good. Black. I like that. I watched the L words last night and they are trying for a baby (it's only part 3 i think). But how attractive is she...Jennifer Beals. 40 years old and she looks soooooo good. Wow... I hope i look that good when i'm 40 (or have that much money so i can look that good!!!)
