Anyone using a lash enhancer?

My eyelashes have become short and stubby and I'm trying to find an over-the-counter lash enhancer (Latisse is way too expensive). The reviews I have read are all over the place. I tried Smartlash and it worked okay. Any suggestions?

I have been using RapidLash for several weeks and my lashes are now pretty long. (they were very stubby/thin prior) My lashes tend to be fair in color (and I'm not a blond, strange) and they are even darkening up. So I am having a positive response to this enhancer. Based on the price of $100 per bottle, Latisse runs me approx. $7.75 per week. Each bottle lasts me a minimum of 3 months. It is usually longer.
