Has anyone tried fluidity barre? I'm thinking about buying it. Of course the women they use for the ad are all ballet dancers. One look at the feet "HELLO?". I was wondering if it would be good for us "real people" Any one try it???
Yes, yes, yes! I got mine for my birthday last week (actually, it just came on Monday). It is an AWESOME piece of equipment and incredibly sturdy. You can use it for chin-ups and pull-ups (which is really what sold me on it). Anyway, I wanted it because I am not particularly flexible yet really dread stretch-type workouts because of the yawn factor. I find the barre workouts fun and surprisingly challenging. My butt gets sore like you wouldn't believe, and it is a really nice break from my usual balls-to-the-wall cardio and weight work.
Hey marie,
Thank you for writting in. May I ask if you have dance background? Or is this a solid workout for those of us who didn't dance growning up? It looks like a great addition from the commercials. Does it really fold away as easy as they say? I am always leary about ordering stuff from TV. Hopefully someone else will write in too with thoughts and opinions. The more the better Thanks!
Fach, I do not have a dance background and generally go for more athletic-type workouts, but I am really enjoying this. And yes, it folds up and can be wheeled around and easily slid under your bed or couch or wherever. The only caveat is it's HEAVY - the box was about 50 pounds, I think. Anyway, no assembly even required, you just need to figure out how to set it up using the instructions.
