Anyone tried NikeShox for aerobics (step)??

I'm on the hunt for new shoes -- and, I'm a store shopper, will not order online.

Anyone try the NikeShox TRAINERS? I know they've got the Shox running shoe, but I want feedback on the Shox trainers -- specifically for step aerobics, I need the support for lateral movement, a sturdy but flexible sole.

I've got some NB trainers now (1007? i believe); but, I've heard the Shox are great, too.

Let me know what you think if you have them. Thx.

I just got these and they are FAB! I can't believe the difference in impact on my ankles and knees. I have been wearing Rykas Affirm II, but I didn't like them much - too much room in the toe box which made lunges and such very difficult. Anyway, I've been wearing these for step since I got them and they feel great!

Good luck!

I just purchased Shox Legend Trainer. I love love love them. My new Rykas Revolution, rubbed and hurt my ankles, also I didn't feel I had enough lateral stability with them. I twisted my ankle and fell twice while wearing them. My Shox are pink/white/silver. I bought them at Footlocker as they were having a great sale. Be sure to get the in-store coupon...
I want to buy more Shox. The Turb Oz is another choice of mine. A lot of people buy the Respond, but I have a smaller foot and the Turb Oz fits better. NZ is another new line I personally want to try. I also want the NZ boot, but I am having a time finding a pair.
Go to eastbay or nikestore.com, finishline, and footlocker to check prices (and printable coupons). Also, there are recommendations what line to buy for your foot size and activity.

Happy shopping. I have become a Shoxaholic. LOL

Wanda - i've got a wider (and small) foot, that's why I typically am a NB girl. But, thanks for the info - I'm eager to check out the Shox. thx!

I specifically went looking fo a shoe with the most lateral support I could find. And I purchased a pair of Ryka gym Trainers. I've done about 5-7 workouts fro mCathe's january rotation ( very hi intensity)in them and they are VERY supportive. The shoe person who helped me did not recommend the shox when I inquired.

PS I am trying to get over plantar fasciitis, and I am very particular about shoes. And I wear these Gym Trainer Rykas almost all the time now! I know they are not very fashion savvy but they feel wonderful.
