Going on a date with my DH tonight and we thought about seeing Sahara or Sin City. Saw the post on Sin City and thought maybe seeing Sahara instead. Has anyone seen it? Any good?

No, but that Matthew McConaughey is just beautiful, isn't he? He seems like such a fun guy too. I love watching his interviews.

Oooooh....Matthew is such good eye candy.....:9

We went to see "Fever Pitch" this weekend....very cute movie. Predictable of course but there were some pretty funny parts. Good date movie. :)

We saw it this weekend. My son ( almost 8) is a big Indiana Jones fan and asked us if we could go see it. I really enjoyed it. It is pretty predicatable but fun. It is based on a series by Clive Cussler that my husband has read. he said the movie seemed to resemble the book only somewhat. My son had no problems with watching any of it...nothing too intense. Lots of things blowing up and nothing to morbid.
In my house we always rank things based on "will we buy on dvd to watch again?" There is probably a 50% chance that we will. Matthew M. was wonderful in it and fun to watch. His side kick is the guy in Daddy Day Care that helped them out when they needed a third guy ( Zahn?) he was really funny to watch as well. ( Not to mention he has a Fort Worth Stockyards hat on which everyone in the theatre found funny since we live in Fort Worth..didn't expect that one)

Hope that helps. Valerie

Thanks for your review, I love action-adventure Indiana Jones type movies too. I'll have to go see it with my son. I might check out the book too, it sounds like your husband thinks the book is better.

My husband is a big Tom Clancy fan. However, since Clancy has gotten to the point where someone else is actually writing his books for him...in conjunction...he has lost interest somewhat, Cussler's books seem to fill the void slightly. He did enjoy the movie but just thought it was a bit more tamer than the book...which was fine since our son was with us.

It was pure entertainment. I didn't walk out thinking Wow that was the best, nor did I walk out bummed about wasting tme. I thought it had humor, excitment, and was fun to watch. But at this point in my life when I actually have time to see a movie, I want just that, pure entertainment and fun and it delivered
