Anyone read the Stephanie Plum series?

I've imagined this series becoming a movie and have so far in my mind cast Sandra Bullock as Stephanie, and I always pictured Estelle Getty as Grandma Mazur (though I'm not sure she's still alive). I havent come up with the perfect Morelli or Ranger yet.
 
I own this entire series, as well as every "between the numbers" book and the re-released romance novels that Evanovich wrote years ago (they're not really "romance novels" --they're hysterical!) I've re-read all of them probably 10 times. I can't get enough! Nothing makes me laugh like Janet Evanovich's writing.

I'm also frequent Evanovich's website and have already preordered the 15th Stephanie Plum book ("Finger Lickin' Fifteen) coming out June 23rd.

Can you say obsessed?....:eek:

You are not the only obsessed I emailed her asking if she is going to continue writing this series and the reply back was yes. YIPPEEEEEEE!!!!!!

I have debated about the naughty neighbor and that series, if it was too romance, thanks for your input. Maybe I will add it to the collection.

I have read every single one and LOVE them, I wish they would make a movie from one, I can see "The Rock" as Ranger...
 
Love Sandra Bullock as Stephanie but want Shari Shephard as Lula, Denzel Washington as Ranger and Derrick Jeter as Morelli.
 
I love this series!!!!
It's light easy reading, funny and wild at the same time. I'm torn between Morelli and Ranger.

Morelli for a long term thing, Ranger for some Danger!!!!
And the grandmother and her funerals!!!! LOL

I want to hear more about the sister and her "Clown hubby" too.

You MUST start at the beginning with One for the Money!!!!

"The Rock" is a good one

Did you read on the website I think the original thought was Reese Witherspoon (I couldn't see it) I thought about Jennifer Garner too,especially seeing her in Alias she would be a real good Stephanie. I just can't see Sandra Bullock commiting to the entire series.
 
Wow that's a lot of positive responses! I'm excited to start now! It sounds like I'm in for the whole series from all of the hype :). I'm so glad to hear that they are easy reads too, I've just finished a few "thinkers" and I'm ready for something quick and fun.
