Anyone know why a cd will not play in my portable player?

Does anyone know why one of my cd's will play in my car player and home player but not in my portable one? I bought a 4 series cd pack from Amazon and 3 of the cd's will play in my portable player which is what I wanted to use to listen to them on but one of them will not. I've cleaned it and it looks fine but it will only play in my non-portable players. I've never had that happen before. Any ideas on why this is happening and if there's anything I can do to make it play in my portable?

No answer but it could be the same reason (whatever it is) that some DVDs play fine in some DVD players while some do not. I have one Cathe (SS/PP) that will not play in my DVD player downstairs, where my workout room, but will play in the DVD player upstairs. I have no clue why. Mysteries of all this technology : )

ARGH! You know that was NOT the answer I was looking for. I wanted you to say that I should just say Abracadabra or something like that and *poof* it would work. Guess that's not going to happen, huh?! That's odd about your DVD. I hope you have enough room where your upstairs dvd is to do that Cathe workout. I've never had that happen on a DVD........and hope it never does! Geesh, you'd think they'd know how to prevent that from happening. Thanks for responding.
