Anyone have a grind & brew coffee maker...

...that you love? We currently have a cuisinart b&g but it's never worked right (I should've returned it but threw the box away), it drips sticky coffee down onto the burner from the grinder - it's such a pain to clean. I ordered a "kitchen essentials" g&b from Overstock but that was defective as well, the water ran right out onto the counter - tried to get a replacement but they're sold out.

So, does anyone have a great coffee maker that they could recommend? I doesn't have to be a grind and brew, I just like the convenience of setting a timer and having freshly ground coffee ready for me in the a.m. :9

TIA,
~Shannon

We love our Krups coffeemaker. It doesn't grind the coffee but it does have a timer and it works very well. We also prefer to grind our own coffee so I bought a Krups grinder separately. There's nothing like waking up to the smell of fresh brewed coffee--AAAAHHHH:9 ;)

Yep - grind and brew - Capresso. Love it, love it, love it! I'm on my second one - first lasted about 8 years, but I wasn't good about letting the chamber empty out periodically. I highly recommend it. www.capresso.com

I have a cuisanart g&b that is awesome. I am not sure what model it is, though, the SO bought it. (I would NEVER spend that kind of cash on a gadget!! Shoes, though, will bankrupt me....)

If you are interested, I will try to remember to find the model name.

I'm reluctant to buy another Cuisinart - their reviews on some of the sites aren't so good, and lots of people who have my model have had the same problems.

Thanks for the Capresso suggestion. I've seen those in my search and almost got one but the price made me hesitate, but if it's going to last 8 years it would be worth it. Just have to talk the DH into spending the $$$.

Thanks,
~Shannon
