Anyone happy with implants???

First of all PLEASE FORGIVE me if this subject has been beat to death but I am new to the forum(not to Cathe's workouts:) I have been strongly considering implants for over two years. After nursing all three of my children I am currently a size AA. I would really appriciate hearing from the ladies out there with implants so I can make a more informed decision(all the research in the world never amounts to the opinion of someone living with them). THANK YOU for your concern!

Well here is my 2 cents. I have had them for 3 years now and for the most part happy with them. I just had a baby 4 months ago and they went from a D cup to a DD cup (I did not nurse) which is really hard to find a bra that fits good and it can really suck while trying to run. I was wearing 2 sports bras to keep them strapped down, but found a sports bra for women with bigger chests....thanks to everyone who posted info about that. I can say mine do not look fake at all, but I had a really good doctor who did not go over board. I would say go to several different doctors if you do decide to do this, get the consult and be very straight forward with what you want your results to be. Many doctors will tell you to go bigger and that usually turns out to be a mistake. It's a personal decision to do this and some people do not agree with it, but remember it is your body.

Since the last breast implant thread became tantamount to a verbal witch hunt or a stoning, I doubt you'll get very many replies. However, you can email me & I'll be glad to give you any details. ;-)

I'm off to go car shopping, so I'll catch you later.

i will tell you that i have had them for several years also, and i have always been happy with them. i too had an excellent doctor who did not go overboard and my boyfriend said that by looking at them you cannot tell they are not real. they are well proportioned to my body. references and straight talk are the best way to do your research. mine are a full c, and i am one of the few who would not mind going a little smaller, however, i have never regretted getting them.

For those who love to gamble...how long before this thread turns ugly?:p

Seriously, I understand your thirst for more information and I cannot be more thrilled that you are trying to get as much knowledge as you possibly can. PM me.

I have had them for about 15 years. I am completely happy with them. I have had a few different surgeries. I started with silicone, freaked, switched to saline, one ruptured and I went back to silicone.

Other than that zero problems.

I'm sorry!!!! It was never my intention for this to turn ugly. I have a great deal of respect for thoes who passionatley oppose this issue. And thank you to those who have posted and e-mailed me so promptly.

LOL!! It's not ugly! We are just joking around because this is one of the issues that easily turns into 117 posts (no exageration) of differing opinions!

No worries, sweetie! It's not ugly! You need to be well informed! Let me know if you want my help!

I have a question............Whenever I watch a show about breast enhancement, the results always look spread apart. Each breast seems to point east and west so to speak which seems fake. What have your results been?

When I got my bandages off a few of my friends had warned me how awful they would look...I was still not prepared. Torpedos pointing every which direction. However, in time they do "calm down" and look more natural (so to speak).

They will also normally point the same direction as they did when they were smaller. So if someone had easty westy small boobs then it may be more noticeable when they are larger.

In the spirit of sharing information, though most women with implants are able to breastfeed, breast augmentation can have an impact breastfeeding. Breast reduction, on the other hand, very often has a negative impact on breastfeeding. FWIW...

I have had mine almost a year now and have absolutly no regrets. If you want more information, I will be happy to help you out if I can and I can also give you the website for another forum that can answer most all of your questions and even some you may not have thought of. It is good that you are trying to get all the information you need and making an informed decision.

Colleen, ROFLMAO!!!!! easty westy boobs indeed. hehehe

Marie

PS: I think this is actually called "fluffing," which is the industry term for the implants dropping into a more natural position.
