Hi - we are headed a week from today to Palm Springs for a wedding. We are only going to be there for a short time, but I think we have a couple afternoons that might be free. Anyone have some suggestions on a place to go or fun things to do there or great restaurant?
You might want to try the Tripadvisor forums. They will give you LOTS of info about what there is available to do (www.tripadvisor.com) and then go to the forums for the USA and then to CA...you get the point!!
We just got back from Palm Springs and we LOVED it! We went to www.thelivingdesert.com and absolutely loved our trip there. We got to feed several giraffes and see cougars up close. Our guide told us amazing facts about all the plantlife there. We really enjoyed our day there.
The mountains and desert are so beautiful. We didn't want to come home!
