Hi, pretty new to Cathe and this forum but absolutely loving all of it. Just curious to know if there are other "Catheites" in my neck of the woods -Lake Winnipesaukee -- would love to hear from you. I recently relocated from L.A. California to N.H. and really loving it . . . miss L.A. a bit sometimes. Headed to S.F. Bay Area and wine country in California (getting married)and off to Maui for honeymoon . . . would love to find messages from N.H. Cathe Fans when I get back home.

Yes!!! There are Catheites in NH!! I live in Northfield, exit 19/20 off the 93 and I know of another one, who lives a couple town over from me. She and I have meet a few times and she is absolutely a wonderful person and gorgeous to boot!
I used to live in LA, too! Actually Paramount, I worked in Long Beach and dh worked in Anaheim.

I'm in Stratham which is just outside of Portsmouth. Lake Winni is so beautiful, we go to our friends camp on Rattlesnake Island every summer.
Congrats on your wedding and honeymoon. My husband and I honeymooned in Maui and Kauai last May- you're going to have a great time. We can't wait to go back!
Life moves a little slower up in NH doesn't it? My in-laws lived in Orange County for a bit and we visited them. Fun for a visit but there are so many people out there, I don't know how anyone commutes on the 405 without going nuts...

I'm in Boston but go to Lake Winni every summer for two weeks--I believe the town we stay in is Moultonborough--we love it! Congrats on your wedding and have a blast in Maui! My husband and I are actually going there for our 15th anniversary--we leave 3 weeks from today, and I can't wait!!! We'll be staying at the Hyatt--where are you staying? I'll be dying to hear all about your trip! Have a blast and congrats again!

Hi Eloise! An Ohio Cathe fan here! I just wanted to say welcome and to have a great time on your honeymoon. My hubby & I went to Maui back in '89 I think. It was absolutely beautiful. We'll be waiting to hear all about your trip when you return and getting to know you better. Welcome to Catheland!

When I was a kid we would drive from Maryland to Wolfsboro every summer!
DH and I lived in Windham for 4 years and 2 of my children were born in Manchester NH.
I really loved NH but honestly it was a bit too rural for me.
It was a bit of culture shock for me coming from a DC suburb to there. I can only imagine what a huge culture shock it must be fore you!
What brought you there? For me it was DH's job.

Just want to add that I don't live in NH anymore, but grew up there (Merrimack, by Nashua). Spent summers on Lake Winnisquam. I miss it so much, I now live in Arkansas. New England is so beautiful, miss the seasons changing. Driving through the White Mountains during Fall Foliage is one of my favorites.
I also honeymooned in Maui, Kauai and Oahu, got married in Maui at the Kea Lani. Best of luck, Hawaii is one of the most beautiful places on earth.
