Anyone else do cheat curls?

Reading my Arnold Swartzenegger book and Arnold use to cheat with 275#!!!!! He use to barbell curl 130. Just wondering if anyone else does cheat curls. I am up to 75# on them on my arms are still the same dang friggin' size, but for some reason they do look bigger...weird. I am taking in more protein too. Gained 2 more pounds. I try to do a bunch of bicep work. Only focusing on cheat curls I heard is not a good thing.

You take the bar of heavy weights half way up, starting from the middle and going up to shoulders. The book says you gain alot of mass by doing it this way. Mostly works the lower bicep muscle and forearm, but seems to add more of a peak to the bicep in general, from what I read. You can really go much heavier this way and gives you a bit of a jump start.

Oh okay, so what Cathe refers to as "the top half" or something like that...we do "the lower half" with her too. COOL! I didn't know even CATHE cheated once in a while!?!? LOL :p

I thought you meant cheating by using some momentum (can be bad for the lower back, unless you know how to cheat using legs and keeping the back out of it...which I have done at times).
 
Wait, so what do you do. Stand and do it w/ a barbell? That's impressive. I do them when Cathe tell me so ;) Yeah, they work big time. I know you're aching to get bigger all over but remember that your genetic predisposition will play into that, too, even if you're lifting cars :p Maybe enough trees will do the trick.
