Anyone doing the pyramid down from PUB?

Anyone doing the Pyramid down from PUB?

I've only done it once and was just curious if I should start doing it more?
 
I only do the Pyramid down on both the PUB/PLB. The full pyramid is a bit much for me. Love those premixes.
 
I haven't done the Pyramid Down but I use the Pyramid Up a lot! I think it helps me lift heavier. I just lift as heavy as I can for three sets instead of doing all five sets with less weight. I think the same method would work for up or down. Sometimes, I lift the same for a couple of sets. I love these workouts and the premixes are the best! I cannot wait for the Body Blast series!

Deborah - when you say your arms are incredible - in what way?

I'm looking for definition as well as strength - but I don't want significant size.

Same here! I do only pyramid up on both PLB and PUB so I can push myself to go as heavy as possible on that third set!

I do PUB Body for life Style. I do sets of 12-10-8-6-12 where Cathe does 12-10-8-10-12. Basically I replace her lighter set of 10 with a HEAVIER set of 6. On the last 12 set I usually take the weight down to the same I did for the 8 rep set. Works wonders and my strength has increased tremendously!

I forgot this video had the 'Up" and "down" sections. Might have to try it next time I am in a time crunch.
 
Definitely, for time crunch, I use it. I really enjoy having these options available to me.

:) I do the pyramid both up and down on PUB, PLB at the heaviest weight I can stand. If the weight is too heavy I go to lighter.;-)
 
I did pyramid up only today for the first time. I'm recovering from a back injury and I find this to be the perfect workout to begin my weight training again. I think either one is only about 30 min., perfect for a time-crunched day. And it gives me time to add on a yoga or core workout afterwards. In fact, I plan on starting a modified tank top rotation in a few weeks, and I think I'm going to do these premixes 3 times a week for the duration.
