Hey guys. Does anybody play on pogo.com??? My kids and I have a subscription there and we LOVE it! I'm currently addicted to Scrabble and Turbo 21 (a fast version of poker, sort of). You can play in private rooms and stuff.
Jacque-I'm not sure, to be honest. The boys and I go in phases, where we play more at certain times and not much during other times of the year. We just figured out how you can get into (or set up) private games.
Kirspy-yeah, we work for those weekly badges too. Lately, Scrabble is our hot love and my older DS LOVES learning the new words. His favorite word right now is QUOLL! LOL What's your screen name over there, if you don't mind my asking. Mine is "badboys19340".
I used to play when we were allowed to at work. Been years. I play occasionally at home. I like the puzzle games. I used the play the one where you pop the colored balloons to clear the screen. At work at lunch we used to get together and play the word games. We always liked the one with the gopher and the one with the honey bees. I also used to play scrabble on line, that was fun too.
Gayle,
On Pogo, I'm kirspyx2, like Kirspy, the sequel. I steer clear of word games mostly. Too much thinking involved. My DD plays sometimes. She's 8. She steers clear of word games, too. We can be pogo buddies! And anybody else who plays, too!
I'm not sure how POGO sets up scrabble (if you play against the computer or other people) but on the website I just mentioned, you play against other people. It is a lot of fun!
OH! I checked out that site and it looks awesome! SO and I are going to the toy store today to pick up Super Scrabble....the board is bigger, has quadruple total spots and more letters! Yup....we're addicted and we've got the kids reading the Official Scrabble Dictionary...one new word a day. LOL
Super Scrabble? That sounds great - too bad for me that I don't have anyone near me that likes to play scrabble. I may have to buy that for the holidays when my brother comes home to visit. We do have Jr. Scrabble that my son & I play sometimes. Have fun!
