Anybody order from Pennies on the Dollar

I ordered a pair of Ryka shoes at a very good price. However they were out of stock. So far I had to call twice to request that the charge to my credit card on Jan 8 be credited back. So far nothing. Anybody else have this problem ordering from them?

I ordered from them last summer and the Rykas I ordered were in stock and arrived promptly - I think within 7 days. I've suggested this retailer to folks having trouble finding Rykas locally, but this is the first time I've heard of anyone having problems with Customer Service.

Have you tried emailing them as well? Or ask for a supervisor when you call?

Sorry for your troubles and I'm wishing you had gotten the Rykas you wanted! Did you order them 1/2 size larger, by the way? If you've never worn them they run small. Just hoping perhaps they have the bigger size in stock!

I have also ordered from them and had no problems but then my shoes were in stock. They do have great prices.
 
Still no refund. I am about to complain to the BBB and the VP of the company.

I'm glad you had good luck with them. I won't buy anything from them no matter how good their prices are.

Sorry to vent, but this is very frustrating.

I didn't have this experience with POTD either, the one time I ordered from them I got my order pretty quickly, but I did have this exact same experience with Eastbay.com. It took them 30 days to refund my account for a pair of shoes! Initially, I was willing to wait for a replacement, I had ordered a pair of shoes that never arrived, and I understood they had to do a trace, they claimed the trace only took 3 days, however, they strung me along on the "trace" for 2 weeks! Finally I emailed them and said, forget replacing the shoes, just credit my account back and I'll shop elsewhere, they then took an additional 2 weeks to credit my account! Not once did I receive an "i'm sorry for the inconvenience" email, and if I hadn't kept in touch with them, I would never have gotten an update on then status.
This is the very reason I appreciate good customer service when I do receive it!
