Anybody familiar with Denver?

I'm going to be presenting a workshop just outside of Denver (Englewood? I don't have my info with me right now) and was wondering if anyone here knows the area. I won't have a lot of free time, but am looking for a healthy (preferably vegan) restaurant that would be easy to get to.

Kathryn - I'm surprised no Denverites answered. I'm bumping this for you. I don't have any restaurants, but I think you might be pleasantly surprised. Denver is a very unique city - kind of Old West meets New Age and you can find all kinds of restaurants. If no one answers, go to Yahoo Yellow Pages, enter the address for your hotel and do a search for restaurants nearby. You should find something.

Plus - the views of the Rockies... I would be happy living in Denver...

Hi!

I am from Denver and know of Englewood. I am not so sure of a vegan restaurant. I am also vegan but dont have much luck finding good places to eat unless I am in Boulder. Boulder has the best vegan food around. If you can find a Whole Foods that is the best place I can advise. Let me know what you think of Colorado caause it is beautiful.

Kathryn, I am not really familiar with Englewood. I have been to a restaurant called Watercourse Foods in Denver. It serves lots of vegan entrees, but is only open for breakfast and lunch.

Also, the Jerusalem restaurant in Denver is good and it has vegetarian and I think some vegan platters.

The best restaurant with vegan food (IMO) is in Boulder and is called Sunflower restaurant. Yum, this is my favorite place.
