Any other moms dress up for Halloween?

I've done this for several years and a lot of my friends look at me like I"m crazy! But now my kids get such a kick out of it I think it will make for fun memories. Last couple years I've done the zombie thing (was dressed when they got home from school last year and they kind of freaked), but now zombies are so popular had to come up with something new. Decided on a gypsy! Wanted something not too scary so I could up my preschooler! I usually go the homemade route, checking out local thrift stores. I haven't told them my costume this year and they're dying to find out :) If I'm the loner out there refusing to grow up too much that's okay. Just curious if anyone else does this!!

p.s. my husband thinks it's hilarious!

Yes, I am dressing up. I am going to be a cosplay version of Lumpy Space Princess from "Adventure Time." I love Halloween and I look for any excuse to have a bit of fun. :)

I do :D.

I don't usually buy a costume though, just a wig of some sort, ears, tails, make-up, that sort of thing. My daughter loves it and I love making her smile. I only have but a short time left until she is a teenager and get's embarrassed by her mom getting dressed-up for Halloween.

Nope, you're not crazy! Just fun :D

I live in a small town and all the stores are open on Halloween and the kids treat or treat thru town. They don't go door to door to private houses. MOST of the adults dress up. It is one of the best parties. The adult costumes are amazing. Woodstock NY takes Halloween seriously and people come from neighboring areas to participate.

I haven't dressed up in years but have already done it twice this season. I was a witch for a dress up Bunco party and DH and I dressed up as Woody and Jessie (from Toy Story) for a dress up dinner party. I'm going to be the witch again for Halloween night. It has been so much fun I may start dressing up every year :D

I alwasy work on Halloween and miss all the fun! I wish I could be a parent who dresses up because I would love to. I think parents that dress up with their children are awesome! Definitely adds to the fun fo the little ones.

Well, one of my friends dressed up with me. But unlike me, she just dressed for trick-or-treating. I actually did some errands dressed up! Did get some funny smiles :) Hope everyone had fun!

I painted my stomach as a jack o' latern! But that really doesn't count.

Had my puppy-girl not passed away in September we were going to dress our 3 (now 2) dogs in great white shark costumes and I was going to be a shark attack victim complete with entrails. But sweet smoosh-bear, baby girl passed and I couldn't see doing it without her as she was my shadow. She would have been the one to hove over me and "guard her kill". That and they discontinued the costumes in the sizes I needed (XXL and XXXL). We have big puppies!

But we're planning a family and pet costume for next year. It'll be so cute!
